Thunder Acoustic Stompboxes newest models bring to the market a new dimension and control to the already popular stompbox line-up. Thunder Acoustic Stompboxes are all individually handcrafted from fine wood and expensive acrylics and individually tuned and tested to give a drum-like sound. The Stompbox is fitted with a Piezo pickup with a ¼” jack output. Simply plug directly into the line level jack of your PA, sub-woofer or bass amp with a standard instrument cable and begin playing. Although Stompboxs can be used with a guitar amplifier the best results are always with sub-woofers and Bass amplifiers. Thunder Acoustic Stompbox is the perfect tool to add depth to your performances. DJ’s, drummers, solo guitarist & keyboard players, street performers, Blues – Pop - Country – Bluegrass - Rock Artists, and Keyboard Players can all add amazing depth to their performances. You can use multiple stompboxes to create even more complex rhythm effects. The Thunder Acoustic Stompbox can make several different tones, depending on where you make contact, what material is making contact (stomp- box can also be played with your hands or drumsticks). The Thunder Acoustic Stompbox platform allows the guitarist, drummer or percussionist to comfortably use the Thunder Acoustic Stompbox while sitting or standing.
If you require more volume from your stompbox, we recommend the use of a preamp like a Behringer PB100 to boost the volume and bass. Depending on your equipment and its EQ setup, and the material of your shoes and where you stomp, you will get different sounds.
